The hidden surprise of this 16-room, single-story is the beautiful, park-like area in back with a great view of the Mackinac Bridge, the Straits from Waugoshance to St. Helena, and sunsets and passing ships.  Four rustic swings, four picnic tables, and a bonfire pit encourage guests to linger and take it all in.  The motel consists of two buildings parallel to the highway so rooms have neither the bridge nor direct highway noise.  New owners Mary and Ivan Wilde have put new furniture, new carpet, and new bed spreads and curtains in each attractive room.  Rooms are air conditioned with cable TV and phones.  They are a very good value for anyone looking for a pleasant room and convenient but striking setting.  Ask about spring and fall rates.  Coffee and donuts in the office.

The St. Ignace area is quickly becoming the Vintage Car Show area of the State.  The city hosts two fantastic car shows each summer along with an awsome Truck Show after the Labor Day Holiday, which brings in visitors from all over the country.
